Open a world after installing: setup downloads VS Path Tracing: materials and VS Path Tracing: runtime from the Mod DB, patches the game’s engine (the original is backed up), and restarts. Remove VS Path Tracing in Settings, Path Tracing, Advanced puts the original back.
New since the tester builds: ocean waves with foam, whitecaps and boats riding the swell; water caustics; tone mapping choices (Standard, GT7, Filmic, AgX); proper SDR output; auto exposure settings; photo mode on F12 with depth of field; an automatic geometry budget; faster loading and smoother frame pacing; crate labels; a Package logs button for bug reports.
